Information You Provide
If you use the contact form, you provide your name, email, country or region, topic and message; organization is optional. Source-page context may accompany the submission so the enquiry can be routed.
Contact Communications
Contact-form data is sent through WICHF’s existing contact endpoint and email-delivery provider so WICHF can receive and answer the enquiry. The current code does not store a separate inquiry record in its reserved database layer.
Technical Information
Hosting infrastructure may make request metadata available for security and reliability. The contact guard can hash an IP address and email address and record limited metadata for spam prevention when its storage is configured.
Cookies and Local Storage
The current supporting pages do not set cookies and do not use localStorage or sessionStorage. If that changes, this policy and any required consent controls will be reviewed before the change is released.
Third-party Links
News references and official links lead to third-party sites. Their privacy practices apply after you follow those links.
Downloads
Public PDF downloads use existing same-origin file targets. Ordinary request metadata may be handled by the hosting infrastructure when a file is requested.
Data Retention
The repository does not define a fixed deletion period for contact email or optional rate-limit records. WICHF will review this policy when an operational retention schedule is established.
Security
The implementation validates contact input, uses a honeypot and can apply hashed rate-limit records. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
International Access
The site can be accessed internationally, and contact communications may cross borders depending on the visitor, hosting infrastructure and email delivery.
Children
The site is intended for general informational access and does not knowingly solicit personal information from children through a child-directed service.
Changes
Material changes to forms, analytics, cookies, storage, embeds or providers require a corresponding policy review and updated effective information.
